At Fighting Dragonz Martial Arts, we believe in making an investment in the lives of our students and parents. Our Not-for-profit school goes much further than a typical karate school. With our desire to impact the lives of others we truly reach past the traditional karate school.
Jonathan Graves is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a certified instructor through the Independent Karate Schools of America (I.K.S.A.); has previously trained in American Open Style and Tang So Do. He is a former Florida and Ohio State Fighting Champion, and National Fighting champion and has been training in the martial arts for over 27 years and continues his training in order to better himself, his style, and also the training of our students.
Jon decided to open up Fighting Dragonz Martial Arts because he knows how important it is for everyone to know a little self-defense. It can be the difference between living or dying. The improvements that we have seen in challenged children has been miraculous. There is not a life that cannot benefit from martial arts training.
Jon saw the need for something in Eastern Columbiana County that would not only teach self-defense, but also was affordable enough for all families. The desire to give kids something positive to do in the afternoons, combined with the improved character qualities that martial arts brings, proved to be the winning combination. Fighting Dragonz Martial Arts is also proud to be the most affordable martial arts school in all of Eastern Columbiana County.
